Privacy Policy Last updated: July 2026. 1. Data Controller The data controller is the Lifelong Learning Centre "Thalis" ("we"), which operates the Project Building Academy platform (learn.projectbuilding.gr). Registered address: Agiou Dimitriou 75, Katerini, Pieria, Ellada. Contact for data-protection matters: info@projectbuilding.gr. 2. What data we collect Account details: full name and email address entered by the administrator when your account is created. Learning data: progress, activity completions, grades and quiz answers. Satisfaction-survey responses are collected anonymously. Technical data: IP address, browser type and server logs, for security and correct operation. Cookies: see section 5. 3. Purpose & legal basis We process your data to give you access to courses, track progress and issue certificates (performance of a service/contract), to keep the platform secure (legitimate interest), and to improve our materials via anonymous feedback. We do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects on you. 4. Where data is hosted The platform and its data are hosted on a server within the European Union (the Netherlands). We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA, except as noted in section 6. 5. Cookies We use essential cookies only to run the platform (e.g. keeping you logged in and remembering your language choice). These are technically necessary and do not require consent. Some pages embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie): YouTube may set cookies only if you click play. 6. Sharing with third parties We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with: (a) our hosting provider (within the EU) as a processor, and (b) YouTube/Google only if you play an embedded video (subject to their policy). 7. Data retention We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After the programme ends or at your request, data is deleted or anonymised, unless retention is required by a legal obligation. 8. Your rights You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise your rights, contact info@projectbuilding.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr). 9. Security We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), regular backups and access control with individual accounts. Registration is closed (invitation only). 10. Changes to this policy We may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Accessibility Statement

The Lifelong Learning Centre "Thalis" is committed to making the Project Building Academy platform (learn.projectbuilding.gr) accessible to everyone, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Conformance status

The platform is built on Moodle 4.5, which is certified as conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA (and 2.2 AA). Our learning content is designed and tested to meet Level AA. Some items may still be undergoing improvement (see below).

Measures we take

• Colour-contrast checks across all interface elements.
• Alternative text for images, captions and transcripts for media.
• Full keyboard navigation and a logical heading structure.
• Automated and manual content checks (Brickfield toolkit, editor checker).

Known limitations

Some PDF files and third-party interactive elements may not yet be fully accessible; these are being remediated. Externally embedded videos are subject to the limitations of their source platform.
