We are committed to making the platform accessible to everyone, in line with WCAG 2.1 AA. Below you will find the measures we take, known limitations and how to contact us.
Accessibility Statement
The Lifelong Learning Centre "Thalis" is committed to making the Project Building Academy platform (learn.projectbuilding.gr) accessible to everyone, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
Conformance status
The platform is built on Moodle 4.5, which is certified as conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA (and 2.2 AA). Our learning content is designed and tested to meet Level AA. Some items may still be undergoing improvement (see below).
Measures we take
- Colour-contrast checks across all interface elements.
- Alternative text for images, captions and transcripts for media.
- Full keyboard navigation and a logical heading structure.
- Automated and manual content checks (Brickfield toolkit, editor checker).
Known limitations
Some PDF files and third-party interactive elements may not yet be fully accessible; these are being remediated. Externally embedded videos are subject to the limitations of their source platform.
